CASMET members came together for a regional conference at the Marriott Hotel in Georgetown, Guyana to forge alliances, improve their skills and share information on the latest developments in global medical technology.
The Caribbean Association of Medical Technologists (CASMET) is an independent, non-governmental organization representing more than 1500 medical laboratory professionals. There are presently seven functioning branches in the following countries: The Bahamas, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Suriname, Guyana, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. These Branches are responsible for islands with CASMET members and these islands are called Territories of the Branch.
